Obi has launched its new budget smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity called ‘Obi Worldphone MV1’. Priced at just $139, that is approximately Rs. 9,500, the phone comes out of the box running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Cyanogen OS 12.1.1. It supports Dual Micro SIM cards and features a 5 inch HD in-cell touch display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and oleophobic coating. It offers 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
Obi has powered the new Worldphone MV1 with 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor accompanied by Adreno 306 GPU. As per RAM, the phone comes in two variants, that is 1GB and 2GB RAM.So, you dont need to worry much about the performance too. As per storage, it has on-board 16GB memory which can be expanded up to 64GB using microSD card. As said, it is a 4G LTE enabled smartphone also supporting 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
In the camera department, the phone carries an 8 Megapixel primary shooter with OmniVision OV8865 sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. You can not only capture your favorite moments in high quality amazing pictures but also record them in Full HD 1080p video recording. At the front we get just a 2 Megapixel shooter that can be used for video calling as well as for Selfies of course. Obi has backed up the phone with 2500mAh (built-in) battery.
