Recently we heard that Google has rolled out Beta apps withing the PlayStore where you can even install and use the applications which are still in Beta testing. It is available with the latest PlayStore v6.7.12. Along with many other Beta apps, Google has also rolled out the new Google Maps v9.27 Beta. It comes with some new interesting features making your navigation and places searching much better.
Google has added two new Notification settings in this new Beta version along with a new Splash screen for Android wear devices. However, people running Developer Preview of Android N are already having Maps v9.30. Unfortunately they can’t install this Beta by downgrading.
You can get the Maps Beta v9.27 by opting in for Beta Tester from this page. Once you become tester, you can download this latest version from the PlayStore link provided below. Or, if you don’t want to become tester but still want to use latest version of Maps, get the APK file directly from the below provided link.
