Promotional telemarketing calls and sms are the ones that irritate us few times every day. Managing DND or NDNC services take long process via out network provider. But that has now become more comfortable with the new app called ‘DND Services (Trai)’. If you don’t know, DND is Do Not Disturb. It is launched by The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) only available for Android users as of now.
Using this tool not only you can register for DND service but also register complaint about any promotion calls or SMS, Unsolicited Commercial Communication(UCC) right away to your service provider. With just a tap you can register or de-register your mobile number from DND. Along with easy to use interface, the app mostly works over SMS. But you may require internet access for few of its functions.
The new TRAI DND app auto detects the phone number, hence it doesn’t works properly with Dual SIM phones. However, you can give it a try using only one number during installation and configuration. Once done, you can insert/activate your second sim as well.
