Alcatel Idol 5S is the most superior one of the three phones Alcatel launched today along with Alcatel A50 and Alcatel A30 Plus. Priced at $279.99 that is approximately Rs. 18,100, Idol 5S comes out of the box running Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. It features a Full HD 5.5 inch Dragontrail 2.5D curved glass display offering 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It also has a Fingerprint sensor adding extra layer of security to the phone and information stored on it.
Alcatel has powered Idol 5S with 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor accompanied by Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB of RAM which seems pretty good for smoother multitasking and faster performance. As per storage, the phone has onboard 32GB memory with support of up to 512GB microSD card for expansion.
For photography fans, Alcatel Idol 5S has a 12 Megapixel rear camera powered with PDAF, CAF, OmniVision OV12870 sensor, dual-tone LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture.
