Download the PC Suite and USB Drivers from the link given below for your HTC Desire 820. PC Suite is the essential tool for your smartphone as it manages your smartphones data very easily and without even losing a single file. It can take back and then restore that back up file for future need. Backing up all the data from your phone like the Contacts, messages, notes , reminders, calendar entries, bookmarks, settings, music, videos only some couple of clicks will help you to back up the data. You can also update your smartphone firmware if you are unable to do it from OTA. You can connect it to the computer and check for the updates if it is available then just get it downloaded and installed.
USB Drivers are also important as it bridges the connection between your computer and the smartphone over the USB cable by which you would be able to transfer the data from your computer to your smartphone or vice versa. USB drivers if not installed on your phone will give you problems like the data won’t be able to transfer or the worst case is that your phone will not get recognized so it’s better to download and get it installed on your computer. USB Drivers also enables the internet tethering option on your computer so that you would be able to share the internet when you don’t have the working connection on your computer or laptop.
