Lava has launched three new 4G smartphones today at affordable prices including Lava A88, Lava A71 and Lava X11. Out of these three, Lava A88 is the lowest in specifications priced at Rs. 5,499. It features a 5 inch FWVGA display offering 854 x 480 pixels resolution. Lava has powered the phone with 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor coupled up by 512MB of RAM. Well, we can’t expect much from such processing power but seems good as a 4G device at such price range.
Lava A88 is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and supports Dual SIM connectivity. It comes with just 4GB on-board storage memory supporting external MicroSD card for expansion. As per photography we get 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 2 Megapixel front facing camera with LED flash of its own. As said, Lava A88 is a 4G LTE smartphone, it also supports other standard connectivity options including 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phone is powered up by 2000mAh battery.
