HMD Global has officially launched the new phone named ‘Nokia 2’ in India at the budget price of Rs. 6999. It is IP52 rated making the phone Splash proof and comes with 6000 series aluminum frame and a polycarbonate back. The phone comes with dedicated Dual SIM slots and a MicroSD slot. Nokia 2 is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and soon will be upgraded to latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
It features a 5 inch HD LTPS LCD In-Cell Touch display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered with 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platform accompanied by Adreno 304 GPU and just 1GB LPDDR3 RAM with 8GB internal storage memory. Sounds low but good at the said price. We can expand the storage memory up to 128GB using microSD card.
