Oppo has launched a new impressive phone called Oppo A5 which is very similar to A3s. Priced at Rs. 14,990, it comes out of the box running the latest Android 8.1 Oreo having Oppo’s own Custom UI ColorOS 5.1. It supports Dual SIM connectivity with separate Microsd slot. The phone sports a 6.2-inch 18:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass display with a Notch offering 1520 x 720 pixels resolution. It is 87.8% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is packed inside a dazzling illusion texture on the back using nano-scale microcrystalline technology.
Oppo has powered up the phone with 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform accompanied by Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM making it pretty good in performance as well as multitasking. As per storage, we get a 32 GB onboard storage memory which can be further expanded up to 256 GB using microSD card.
For camera fans, Oppo A5 carries a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture along with a secondary 2 Megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture for portrait shot. There’s also an 8 Megapixel front facing camera with AI beautify features that intelligently recognizes 296 facial features. In terms of connectivity, A5 supports 4G VoLTE with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG. Oppo has powered up the device with 4230mAh battery claiming to offer battery backup up to 14 hours for video playback and 11 hours of gaming.
