Xiaomi has launched yet another variant of Redmi 3, called Xiaomi Redmi 3X. It is exactly same in specifications and looks compared to Redmi 3S which was launched yesterday. Its just the renamed version for local China Unicom. Priced at 899 yuan, i.e. approximately $135 or Rs. 9150, the new Redmi 3X comes out of the box running Android based MIUI 7 and supports Hybrid Dual SIM slots allowing you to use MicroSD card as well in second slot for expansion.
Xiaomi has added extra security to the phone using Fingerprint sensor at rear facing. While on the front we get a 5 inch HD IPS display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM pairing up with Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor and Adreno 505 GPU.
