Xiaomi has rolled out the new MIUI 7.2 stable firmware update for many of its Redmi lineup smartphones bringing a set of new features along with several bug fixes and security updates. The update is now rolling out slowly over OTA and will reach to your device anytime soon. However, if it takes more time and you don’t want to wait for it, you can alternatively download the original firmware update package from here and flash it manually on your Xiaomi Handset. Dont worry, since it is official ROM, it will not hamper your device or its warranty.
As of now, Xiaomi MIUI 7.2 update is available for Chinese Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 4S, Mi Note Pro, MI 4c, Mi Pad, Redmi Note 4G (Single SIM), Redmi 1S and International Xiaomi Mi Note, Xiaomi Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 2/2S, Mi Pad 2, Redmi 3, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 4G (Dual SIM), Redmi Note 3G, Redmi 2A, Redmi 2. If you are having any of these smartphones, you just don’t need to wait for the OTA reaching your phone. Simply download the Firmware package from below and flash it right away using the official Xiaomi PC Suite.
