LG has launched a new camera smartphone with mid ranged specifications called LG X Cam. Priced at Rs. 19990, the phone comes with Dual Camera setup and some interesting features like Pop-out Picture that automatically combines two images taken with the standard and wide angle lenses into one picture. Its Panorama View feature also automatically scrolls a wide image. Another interesting feature of LG X Cam camera is its Signature feature that lets you add a caption or byline after capturing a picture.
The new X Cam comes out of the box running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Dual SIM support. It features a 5.2 inch Full HD display In-cell Touch offering 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. LG has powered the phone with 1.14GHz Octa-Core processor accompanied by Mali-T720MP3 GPU and 2GB of RAM along with internal 16GB storage memory which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.
Being a camera dedicated phone, the new LG X Cam carries Dual Camera setup that includes a 13 Megapixel primary rear camera with Standard Lens along with a 5 Megapixel secondary camera with Wide Angle Lens. There is also an 8 Megapixel front facing camera for Selfie shooters. In terms of connectivity, the X Cam supports 4G LTE along with other standard connectivity features including GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 and Micro USB. The phone is running on 2520 mAh battery.
